Yomrahaber gazetesi gönüllük ilkesini temel almış bir projedir. Başlıca hedefi, Yomra’ya, yöre halkına ve bölgeye faydalı olmak; kültür değerlerimizi dışarıya tanıtırken aynı zamanda haberlerle zenginleştirilmiş olan gazeteyi okuyucularına ulaştırmaktır…

Gazete ekibi uzun bir ön çalışmanın ardından Yomra Haber’i hayata geçirdi. Mayıs 2008 itibariyle aylık ve abonelik formatıyla piyasaya sürülen gazete web sitesiyle desteklenmektedir. Böylelikle gazete, aylık haberlerin yanı sıra web sayfasında güncel haberler ve ekstrasıyla basın dünyasına yeni bir anlayış katmaktadır. Ayrıca diğer gazetelerden farklı olarak içeriğinde barındırdığı kültürel haberler, yazı dizileri, röportajlar ve daha fazlası ile hem tanıtıcı bir rehber, hem de gelecek nesillere aktarılacak bir arşiv niteliği taşımaktadır. Bu niteliğinden ötürü de Yomra Haber sadece Yomralılara değil, Karadeniz kültürünü merak eden, ülkesinin bu güzel köşesini yakından tanımak isteyen herkese hitap etmektedir…
